Workflows do repeat jobs for you. Every workflow has a trigger (what starts it) and one or more actions (what it does).
In this example, we'll send a welcome text and tag the contact whenever someone fills in your website form.
Create the workflow
Click Automation in the left menu. The Workflows tab opens.
Click Create Workflow.
Choose Start from Scratch, or Use a Template to start from a ready-made workflow.
Enter a Name, such as "Welcome new form leads", and an optional Description.
Click Create Blank (or Create from Template). The workflow builder opens.

Add the trigger
Click Add Trigger on the canvas, or open the Triggers tab in the Nodes panel.
Find Form Submitted and click it, or drag it onto the canvas.
In the Configure tab, choose which form should start the workflow.
Add the actions
Open the Actions tab in the Nodes panel.
Click Send SMS (or drag it under the trigger).
In Configure, write your message, for example: "Hi, thanks for reaching out! We'll call you within one business day."
Add an Add Tag action and choose a tag such as "Web lead".

Save and publish
Your changes save automatically; you'll see Saved next to the workflow name. You can also press Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on a Mac).
A new workflow starts as a Draft and does nothing until you publish it. To turn it on, flip the Draft / Published switch at the top to Published.
If you edit a published workflow later, click Publish changes to put your edits live. Until then, the workflow keeps running its last published version.
