Do a test run (no real messages)
Open the workflow from Automation.
Click the test button at the top (Test with a contact — dry run, no real sends).
Pick a contact and start the test.
The test walks the contact through each step and shows the path they took, without sending any real texts or emails.
Click the enroll button (Enroll a contact — real actions will fire) and pick a contact. This sends real messages, so try it on yourself first.

See what a workflow did
Click the Execution logs button at the top of the builder.
The Execution History table lists each Contact, Action, Status and when it was Executed.
Use View on canvas to see that step highlighted in the builder.
For an overview across all workflows, open the Analytics tab under Automation.
By default, a contact goes through a workflow once. To change this, open the Settings tab in the Nodes panel and switch on Allow re-entry.
Troubleshooting
Nothing happens. Check the switch at the top says Published, not Draft.
My edits aren't working. Click Publish changes. Until you do, the workflow runs its last published version.
"Cannot activate workflow." A step is missing a setting. Steps with problems are marked on the canvas; open each one and fill in what is missing.
Texts are delayed. Texts wait for texting hours in the contact's time zone.
