Create a pipeline

A pipeline shows every deal you are working on as a card on a board. Each column is a stage, such as "New Lead", "Estimate Sent" and "Booked".

Create a pipeline

1. Click Opportunities in the left menu.

2. Click New Pipeline. (If you don't have one yet, click Create Pipeline.)

3. Enter a Pipeline Name, such as "Sales".

4. Optional: add a Description.

5. Under Stages, name each stage in order. Click Add Stage for more, and drag stages to reorder them. A pipeline needs at least two stages.

6. Or pick a ready-made Template to start with its stages.

7. Click Create Pipeline.

A simple pipeline to start with

New Lead → Contacted → Estimate Sent → Negotiating → Booked

Keep it short. You can always add stages later.

Edit your pipelines

Use the Manage tab at the top of Opportunities to rename pipelines or change their stages. The Settings tab holds extra options, such as opportunity fields and what deal cards show.
