In the US, phone carriers require every business that texts customers to register first. This is called A2P 10DLC registration. Without it, carriers may block or filter your texts.
Registration has three steps: your brand (your business), your campaign (what kind of texts you send), and assigning your phone numbers.
Before you start
Have these ready:
Your legal business name and EIN (tax ID), exactly as they appear on your IRS paperwork.
Your business address, website, email and phone.
A contact person's name, email, phone and job title.
A link to your privacy policy and terms & conditions pages.
Two sample texts you plan to send.
Add your privacy policy and terms links in Business Details first. They are filled in for you here.
Open the registration
Click Settings, then Integrations.
Click Configure Telephony.
Open the Compliance tab and find A2P 10DLC Registration.
Step 1: Register Your Brand
Click Pre-fill from Business Details to fill in what you already entered.

Step 2: Register Your Campaign
Choose a Use Case, such as Customer Care, Marketing or Mixed.

Add Sample Message 1 and Sample Message 2. Include your business name and "Reply STOP to opt out."
Check the Privacy Policy URL and Terms & Conditions URL.
