To send email from your own business address, you need to verify your domain (for example, yourbusiness.com). This proves to inbox providers like Gmail that the emails really come from you, so they don't land in spam.
Cycl Sales may already have set this up for you. If Configure Email shows your domain as Verified, you're done.
Before you start
You'll need to log in to wherever your domain's DNS is managed, such as Cloudflare, GoDaddy or Namecheap. If someone else manages your website, ask them to help with this step.
Set it up the quick way
Click Settings, then Integrations.
Click Configure Email.
Open the Domains tab.
Click Auto-Setup Subdomains.
Enter your Root Domain, for example yourbusiness.com, and a Default From Name, such as your business name.
Click Setup Subdomains.
This creates two sending subdomains: one for everyday emails like booking confirmations, and one for marketing emails. Keeping them separate protects your everyday emails if a marketing email gets marked as spam.

Add the DNS records
On your new domain's card, you'll see a list of DNS records, each with a name (host) and a value.
Copy each record.
Log in to your domain provider and add them as TXT or CNAME records, exactly as shown.
Come back and click Verify.
DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to show up. If verification fails at first, wait a while and click Verify again.
Domain status
Status | What it means |
|---|
Not Started | Records not created yet. Click Verify to create them. |
Pending | Waiting for your DNS records to be found |
Partial | Some records found, some still missing |
Verified | You're ready to send |
DMARC
We recommend adding a DMARC record too. It tells inbox providers what to do with emails that fail checks, and is now required by Gmail and Yahoo for bulk senders. If it is missing, you'll see DMARC Recommended with the record to add.
Prefer to choose the subdomain yourself?
Click Add Custom Domain and fill in the Domain Name, Purpose, From Email, From Name and Reply-To.
Troubleshooting
Still pending after 48 hours. Check each record was copied exactly, with no extra spaces. Some providers add your domain to the end of the host name automatically, so you may only need the first part.
Team invitations aren't sending. Invitations need a verified sending domain. Once verified, resend them. See Invite your team.
