Set your availability and booking rules

Choose your weekly hours, add buffers between appointments, and control how far ahead people can book.

Set your weekly hours

Click Calendars, then the Manage tab.
Click your calendar to open it.
Open the Availability tab.
Under Weekly Hours, set the hours for each day. Mark days you don't work as Closed.
Click Save Availability.

Set your scheduling rules

Further down the same tab, under Scheduling Rules:

Setting	What it does
Buffer before (min) / Buffer after (min)	Free time kept before or after each appointment, for travel or prep
Slot interval (min)	How often start times are offered, for example every 30 minutes
Min notice (hrs)	How much warning you need before a booking
Max advance (days)	How far ahead people can book
Max per slot	How many bookings one time slot can take
Max per day	The most bookings allowed in one day
Change cutoff (hrs)	How close to the appointment people can still reschedule or cancel

Click Save Rules when you are done.

Appointment length and services

Open the Services tab to add Appointment Types and Services, each with its own Duration. For example, "Quick call" at 15 minutes and "Full consultation" at 60 minutes.

Days off

Use the Holidays tab to block out days you are closed.

Tips

A 15-minute Buffer after stops back-to-back appointments if you travel to customers.
A Min notice of a few hours stops surprise bookings in the next 10 minutes.
